Well, the Sammies are over. That signals the “official” end of the past season at FMT, and the start of the upcoming one – our 25th Anniversary Season. (Yes, there are many of us that have been working on CATS already, but that’s beside the point.)
I’m excited about the new season! We have a great set of productions lined up, with CATS in the fall, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast in the spring, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame next summer. Also, after spending the last show on stage, I’ll be happily returning to my “normal” position offstage, supporting our fabulous casts as they work their magic to bring our patrons top quality musical theatre that always guaranteed safe for the entire family. Along the way, I’ll do my best to keep this blog up to date with some behind-the-scenes stuff, funny things along the way, and maybe a little insight in to what it takes to put a production together.
First things first – if you are planning to audition for CATS and have not already signed up through our online audition form, please do so as soon as possible. That allow us to plan for the number of peple that are going to be there each night; plus, we are not planning to have paper audition forms that can be completed the day of, so you will need to have them done online ahead of time. Here is the link to the audition form:https://form.jotform.us/ILUV2DANCE/fmt-fall2017-cats-audition-form.
